Sergio is a lawyer from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Property Law from Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile.

His professional practice focuses on civil and constitutional law, in both litigation and non-litigation matters. He provides legal representation and counsel in dispute resolution, as well as in the preventive design and review of legal structures aimed at avoiding conflicts. Before joining the firm, he served as a legal advisor at the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, where he contributed to the drafting of landmark rulings, particularly regarding constitutional guarantees and tax law with a constitutional perspective.

In the academic field, Sergio is a professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He has published articles in prestigious national and international legal journals on topics related to civil and tax law from a constitutional standpoint. He has also been a speaker at conferences and academic events on various legal subjects.
