Liliana is a summa cum laude attorney from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, with a subspecialization in corporate law. She focuses her practice on corporate advisory, primarily in civil and contractual matters, labor advisory, corporate law, and personal data protection. She was an intern at the Constitutional Court of Ecuador and has experience in constitutional law, with emphasis on jurisdictional guarantees. She also has experience in competition law.

In the academic sphere, Liliana was Editor-in-Chief of the USFQ Law Review (2024–2025). She was a member of the USFQ arbitration team (2024–2025) as lead speaker and alternate speaker. She served as a teaching assistant in private law courses and currently works as an adjunct professor in private law courses at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
