Pedro has focused his practice on banking and finance law, economic criminal law, litigation, administrative law and intellectual property.
He graduated with a law degree from the University of the Americas (UDLA) and holds an advanced specialization in finance, stock exchange and insurance law from the Simon Bolivar Andean University (UASB).
Pedro has experience in both the administrative and contentious phases of intellectual property matters. He has also formed part of legal teams for financial institutions. He is knowledgeable about civil, commercial, labor and contentious administrative proceedings, banking legislation and contracts in general. He has participated in important undertakings such as the merger of final institutions and the sale of stock in major businesses.
Prior to joining Naranjo Martínez & Subía Abogados, Pedro was a senior associate at one of Ecuador’s largest law firms, where his practice was in the areas of litigation, banking and finance, intellectual property and technology. He has been recognized by the international publication Legal 500 as an expert attorney in banking law.
